who is regina?
Regina Pribyl was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and moved to Austin in 2010. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in English Language Arts & Reading from St. Edward's University in the fall of 2012 and worked as an English teacher in AISD and RRISD for five years, collectively. During that time, Regina primarily taught English II, English II Inclusion, English II Pre-AP, and Freshman AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination).
She also hosted student teachers and student interns from the teaching program at The University of Texas known as UTeach. Even though she's no longer in the classroom, she continues to stay up-to-date on the latest pedagogy and teaching practices and is currently certified to teach English and ESL at the middle and high school level.
Since leaving the classroom Regina has taken on a more active role in her husband's business, becoming the Chief Editor for his team of copywriters and content creators. She is also the Chief Editor for his novels, the most recent being the Amazon Best Seller titled "From Nothing" by Ian Pribyl.
Regina's belief that "every person learns differently" stems from her experience in the classroom and working with students of all skill levels: from struggling as an English language learner, to being ready to take the AP exam at the sophomore level, to overcoming a learning disability. Her personalized tutoring approach is tailored for each student and evolves as their needs, goals, and proficiency changes.
Regina currently resides in Austin, TX with her husband and three miniature dachshunds. In her free time she enjoys traveling, training for races, reading, and volunteering with animal rescue organizations.
